The remastered version of Rune Factory 4 is coming out on Nintendo Switch very soon, plus a brand new content with Newlywed Mode!
Rune Factory 4 Special
Earlier last year, Rune Factory 4 Special was announced in Nintendo Direct. Although, it was initially announced to be released late 2019, XSEED recently announced that Rune Factory 4 Special will launch February 25, 2020, on Nintendo Switch.
Rune Factory 4 Special is a remastered version of the highly-rated RPG simulation title that launched in Nintendo 3DS back in 2013. It contains new contents such as Newlywed Mode, as well as adventures that will be unlocked once you have married. The game will cost $39.99 on Nintendo eShop, and it will contain the Swimsuit Day DLC, which makes all the marriage candidates wear swimsuits.
Moreover, Another Episode Pack DLC will also be available for free during the first four weeks following the game’s launch. It contains twelve new storybook-style episodes narrated by the marriage candidates. It will cost $4.99 afterward.
The Archival Edition is also available for preorder for $59.99. This is what is included in this edition:
- A physical copy of Rune Factory 4 Special for Nintendo Switch
- 160-page art book measuring 5.8” x 8.2” featuring the works of Minako Iwasaki from Rune Factory 1 through 4, Rune Factory: Frontier, and Rune Factory: Tides of Destiny, as well as promotional and comic art contributed by other artists
