Rage 2 is back in development with a brand new trailer and a new team of developers to bring out a new post-apocalyptic open-world game soon.

Bethesda finally announces the upcoming sequel of the FPS and racing shooter game, Rage 2, formally. This is after a lot of setbacks throughout the years ever since the first game came out in 2011. A new trailer and sets of screenshots have been shown as well, you can watch the video above and look at the screenshots below as well. They look gorgeous!
This time, makers of Mad Max, Avalanche Studios, will be joining the development with Id Software. However, it is not known who leads the development or if it is a co-development of these two game development teams, thus, it also means that the game engine that Rage 2 will be using is still unknown as of the moment.
Bethesda also revealed details of Rage 2, such as the game is an open-world where you explore various locations in the wasteland and encounter different factions. You play as the last Ranger, Walker, and you are after many gangs, especially The Authority, the faction that took everything from you. Weapons customization and vehicle combat are both key points of the gameplay.
The game is set to release on 2019 for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.
