Fans can now wishlist, and eventually pre-order this post-apocalyptic RPG gem, Wasteland 2: Director’s Cut, on Nintendo eShop.

inXile Entertainment has partnered with Nintendo to release their highly-acclaimed post-apocalyptic RPG, Wasteland 2: Director’s Cut, on Nintendo Switch. The Director’s Cut Edition is an enhanced/remastered version of the original release that improves and adds further immersion to the players by a mile.

A new launch trailer was also revealed today to celebrate the announcement of the game for the platform. Players can now add Wasteland 2: Director’s Cut to their wishlist on Nintendo eShop, so they get notified once the game is ready for pre-order.

Brian Fargo, CEO of inXile Entertainment has said:

When I first showed a screenshot of Wasteland 2 running on the Nintendo Switch, it erupted into one of the largest social media reactions I have ever seen,

RPG fans are looking for new ways to experience old favorites, and Nintendo fans are looking for big, meaningful RPG experiences they can play anywhere they go. The game received a huge reaction last week at gamescom, and it feels great to be this close to getting the game in fans’ hands.

Wasteland 2: Director’s Cut will be released on September 13, 2018.
