Devil May Cry 3 Special Edition

Few months ago, Capcom announced that Devil May Cry 3: Special Edition would be ported to Nintendo Switch, and this month, the development team has announced one of the new features for the port, which is to switch combat styles flawlessly.

This innovative feature allows players to choose among the six combat styles in the game, four of which are already available at the start of the campaign, and the other two will be unlocked later on in the game. This creates a lot of opportunities for players to perform various combos unlike ever before.

The game will be launching on February 20, 2020 digitally, and it is now available for pre-purchase at $19.99. Additionally, players who will purchase before the launch date would be granted a 50% discount for Devil May Cry and Devil May Cry 2.

Game Information

Devil May Cry 3 Special Edition serves as a prequel for the iconic action series, unfolding years before the original Devil May Cry.

This origin story explores the journey leading up to and culminating in Dante’s face-off against his twin brother, Vergil. Dante must use his trademark sword Rebellion and dual pistols Ebony and Ivory to stop Vergil from unlocking a gate to the demonic realm and infesting the world with demons.

Along the way, players will gain insight into many aspects of the series, from the first encounter with fan-favorite Lady, as well as the beginnings of Dante’s titular shop.
