Warcraft III: Reforged

Justice has come! Rejoice Warcraft III fans! Blizzard Entertainment has recently announced that they are remastering their beloved Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos, and its sequel, Warcraft III: Frozen Throne, in game called Warcraft III: Reforged.

Warcraft III: Reforged is a remake in a truest form since it is built from scratch, and thus, its visuals have been updated with new cutscenes, and Blizzard even rerecorded voice-actors for some key characters in the game, such as Arthas Menethil. An upgraded World Editor will also be available for those who like to create their own maps and skirmishes. Let us not forget about the online matchmaking which is another focal point of this remake.

Of course, one of Warcraft III’s best aspect is its storytelling and lore. Players can finally relive such as rich history ranging from the founding of Orgrimar, fall of Lordaeron, the rise of Lich King, and many more by playing the four races: Humans, Orcs, Scourge, and Night Elf. Each has its own unique story to be told.

J. Allen Brack, President of Blizzard Entertainment has said:

Warcraft III is monumentally important to us here at Blizzard, and its influence is evident in everything we’ve done since,

A project like Warcraft III: Reforged isn’t something we undertake lightly, partly because of this legacy, but more importantly, because we know what it means to our players.

Warcraft III: Reforged is set to be released in 2019. Players can now pre-purchase it for $29.99 for the standard edition, while $39.99 is for those who want to get Spoils of War Edition, which includes several unique skins for the game’s heroes and items for other Blizzard’s games.
