The classic Disgaea: Hour of Darkness from the PlayStation 2 is getting a remake!
Dengeki PlayStation, a Japanese gaming magazine focusing on PlayStation, stated that Disgaea: Hour of Darkness, a classic tactical RPG made by Nippon Ichi Software for the PlayStation 1(PS1) which had a re-release for the PlayStation Portable(PSP) under the name Disgaea: Afternoon of Darkness as well on the Nintendo DS under the name Disgaea DS, is going to have a remake under the name of Disgaea Refine!
Along with its release, the game will also come with ¥9,200 limited edition release that includes an original soundtrack, daily desktop calendar, and special-make box.
The game will be released on July 26, 2018, for both the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4(PS4) in Japan! There is still no western release window as of now.
There is still no information about Disgaea Refine other than it is a remake of Disgaea: Hour of Darkness and that it will come to the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4(PS4). However, we are expecting more news when the official issue comes out tomorrow.
