Hoooray JRPG fans! Another Disgaea game is going to have a PC port soon.
Disgaea 5 Complete PC
Without any major announcement, Nippon Ichi Software silently puts Disgaea 5 Complete to Steam for PC. Weirdly enough, while Disgaea 1 and Disgaea 2 were ported to the PC via Steam, Disgaea 3, Disgaea 4, and Disgaea D2 were skipped.
Disgaea 5 Alliance of Vengeance was released for the PlayStation 4 on March 25, 2015, in Japan, October 6, 2015, in the US, and October 16, 2015, in Europe.
A remastered edition of Disgaea 5 Alliance of Vengeance, Disgaea 5 Complete, was released for the Nintendo Switch containing all DLC from the original PlayStation 4 version, however, offered no new content. Disgaea 5 Complete was released for the Nintendo Switch on March 3, 2017, in Japan, May 23, 2017, in the US, and May 26, 2017, in Europe.
The PC port of the Nintendo Switch remaster will be released for PC via Steam on May 8, 2018. (Philippine Time)

Author's Opinion
If you are a fan of Tactical RPGs, this is a must-buy, at least for consoles.
I have been a fan of Nippon Ichi Software’s Disgaea series since Disgaea 1. I have basically played each and every Disgaea game in the series. Although I don’t have a PlayStation 4, I was able to play Disgaea 5 via the Nintendo Switch version, though it is kinda late from the release date.
I might have bought the PlayStation 4 version (I swear, I don’t have a PS4, I just bought it.) and as well as the Nintendo Switch version, this will not stop me from buying the PC version as well.
Though I will buy the PC version and played it for over 999 hours from the Nintendo Switch version, I don’t see myself playing such game on PC. It feels weird and unnatural playing a game designed for console on PC. This is also why I play a console game, that’s also released for PC, on the console where it was released on, but that’s only me. I don’t know about you, guys.
In my own opinion, however, you can easily say Disgaea 5 is the best in the series gameplay-wise, Disgaea 2 being the best story-wise, followed by Disgaea 1 and Disgaea 5.
But I have a question for Nippon Ichi Software; When are you going to release and why the heck did you skip Disgaea 3, Disgaea 4, and Disgaea D2 for PC via Steam, dood?
